Funding
The Alzheimer Society supports research through financial support
from donations received through fundraising activities. Each year
the Chapter makes a commitment to donate a portion of revenue to
research. This donation funds research in the areas of :

To find a cause end cure
for Alzheimer Disease and related disorder. |
| Psychosocial Research: |
To find care giving
solutions for people living with the disease. |
Research Program
The Alzheimer Society of Ontario provides research grants to
Canadian researchers and training support to young researchers to
ensure a continuous flow of scientific knowledge into the field.
The Alzheimer Society of Ontario’s research program funds
biomedical research into the cause and cure of Alzheimer Disease.
The Society also funds social and psychosocial research to find
improved methods of diagnosis, caregiving and service delivery.
The Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent donates to the provincial
research program annually with a portion of donations received from
the community.
